Butterflies have always fascinated me, so much so that I have always been in awe of these magnificent beings. They often drift into my art journals and always give me a sense of hope and wonder.
This is something I recently purchased and somehow after ‘playing’ with it for a bit I gave up… It didn’t work maybe coz it was too big, maybe. It was not designed right maybe…I just didn’t feel comfortable using it, felt I couldn’t control it.
Every few days I would pick it up and then after the balls rolled into each inner circle I would let it rest, hoping to come to it some other day. Y’day I picked it up again, and somehow managed to roll them all in!
Felt like a victory!!
P.S. Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools.
Blind contours are a fun way to train your hand to your eyes. It’s quite a simple exercise but once you get hooked to it, it will engross you a lot. I can assure you. Hope you will follow along and create some Blind contour Selfies! Have fun 🙂
When we sit down and count our blessings and realize what all we have to thank for, life seems amazing all of a sudden. Gratitude is not only for things that we have but also for all the life situations that have made us stronger, life teaches some awesome lessons, and we are free to grab them as we go.
Did you count your blessings today? Feel free to print this and fill it up. You might want to frame it and put out there too 🙂
With all that is going around, as well as inside, its time to slow down and introspect. It’s perhaps also a time for a spring cleaning, a global one at that. Let’s remove everything that is unnecessary, unsubscribe to all that has been piling up, not just stuff but also thoughts and feelings. It’s time for a reset, let’s clean all the closets inside out. Let’s keep only what’s closest to us.
Clean all the closets
Keep only the closest
Both thoughts and things
And the memories each brings
Time for a deep clean
Keep it lean
Stop and ponder
Do you see light beyond the blue yonder?
