  • Rains are here to stay…

Finally it rained today! Even though it was only for a short while…it was a very welcome change. Two sketches I did today…after the rain had stopped and I had finished my evening tea. Added a hint of rain in this one!

  • Bryophyllum

I really find it fascinating and kind of admire this particular creation of nature…the fact that you can multiply it by simply plucking a tiny cluster and planting it in soil anywhere you desire. It is such a ‘grounded’ soul!! There is a distinct softness and beauty in this little plant.

  • Sunflower

    Sunflower

Been thinking of painting this since a few days now…finally got down to it! This lovely yellow beauty is growing in a pot in my garden…I had been eyeing it for long…everyday hoping that I will paint it the day it is the right size…today it completely lured me into sketching it… I am kind…

  • All lit up…

    All lit up…

Got this lovely lamp a while ago but never really got to light a candle in it…y’day while enjoying the super weather I sketched it in my digital art journal…

  • Sitting pretty!

    Sitting pretty!

Found these beauties in my garden y’day… the harsh June sun has swallowed all the flora but these beauties seem to have survived! I had read somewhere that the best place to find god is in the garden!  True indeed!
